Quick start recipes that the family will love!

 

Some nights are super hectic! You come home from work and have a million things to do. You literally don’t stop to breath, take your shoes off, or even get a bathroom break. And Lets be honest  we are not always in the mood to cook  a huge meal. This recipe is one of my favorites and is perfect for any size family. I have seen the name “One Pan Wonder “used many times for this recipe and  I mean Hey ! The name speaks for itself lol Why not give it a try! This Green Beans, Chicken, and Potatoes “One Pan Wonder” will change your dinner life for good trust me! . Throw it all in a pan, bake it, and you have a balanced, delicious meal that your family will love!

 

Green Beans, Chicken, and Potatoes “One Pan Wonder”

Ingredients

12 oz. green beans

1 lb. chicken breasts, diced

1 lb. red potatoes, chopped

½ cup butter {I use salted}

1 (0.6 oz.) Zesty Italian seasoning packet

Salt and pepper

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350ºF.

2.Layer your green beans, chicken, and potatoes in a 9×13 inch baking dish as seen above.

3.Cut your butter into 12-16 slices and spread evenly atop the veggies and chicken.

4.Sprinkle the Italian seasoning packet evenly over the beans, chicken, and potatoes and top with salt and pepper, to taste.

5.Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour, until chicken is no longer pink and potatoes and soft. {If your beans start to get too cooked at about the 45 minute mark, place foil over the pan.

5 Exercises that are great for parents and kiddies to do together!  

A healthy lifestyle requires lots of self-attention. And, lets’ just be honest your are not your own as a parent. So a lot of our attention goes to the little ones that we created, But who said that you can’t live a healthy lifestyle and focus on body, mind, and appearance while including your minis. Developing a better you and a better them at the same time, well it doesn’t get any better than that. Below are a few excercises that both you and the kids can enjoy together that will help with the overall contribution towards a healthy lifestyle. And Hey! If your lucky you will tire them energetic blessings out and get some much-needed you time in!

Low Squat Jump 

Standing with feet hip-width apart lower into a squat so that the hip crease is just below knee level, jump straight up and land in a low squat

Low Jacks 

Standing with feet wide, toes turned out slightly, lower into a squat so that hip crease is just below knee level maintaining a low position jump feet in and out.

Planking 

Put your elbows on the floor raise up on the tips of your toes. Keep your back straight and abs tight in line. Hold the position as long as you can. 30 seconds is pretty good!

Mountain Climbers 

Start in a push up-position then alternate bringing one foot at a time forward toward your armpit and then extend it back out. (It’s kind of looks like a bear crawl)

Dont Forget to smile, laugh and oh maybe start a little friendly family competition between you and kids. An don’t forget “Reflections” it’s not just clothing it’s a lifestyle.
